Things to Do in West Cork

Walkers and ramblers will delight in the way-marked walking trails of West Cork, the terrain is very varied and includes old boreens, open grassy and heathery hill, rock, field paths, quiet roads, some short stretches of woodland path, and some of the most beautifully majestic landscape you will ever see.

Hundreds of inlets, tiny coves, safe harbours and blue-flag beaches are just right for long active days in the salty air – learning to sail, surfing, diving, whale watching, island-hopping to enjoy the unique atmosphere of West Cork’s offshore islands, bird spotting, kayaking on a salt-water lake in the moonlight, messing about in boats.

For the golfer we have four very different golf courses, for gardeners a selection of well-established gardens open to the public, or you could travel to the country markets, tasting and sampling the best in local food and talking to the producers before you buy.

We look forward to seeing you!
