The Fastnet Tour

Cape Clear Ferries, West Cork Islands

For many generations the majestic and isolated Fastnet Rock off the West Cork coast has fired the imaginations of onlookers, both locals and visitors alike. For others, the Fastnet was known as Ireland's Teardrop as it was the last part of Ireland seen by thousands of Irish emigrants as they sailed away to the New World, most of them never to return again.
